I have made a new collection of artworks, titled, ‘I Choose’. What I realised while looking back at previous artworks was that many of my pieces were created and titled according to my feelings about choices/decision making in life. I’m not talking so much about the day to day decisions, like, ‘what should I wear today’, but more of the choices one has in regards to how one reacts and how they choose to feel in certain circumstances. I feel we have more power to choose our feelings than we think. A feeling can come and go quite quickly depending on how long we hold onto it. We have a choice to let go but we have to be aware we are holding onto it in the first place. This awareness is the start to gaining power over your decisions and it’s a choice to start to know yourself better. 

I started transcendental meditation in 2019 and it saved me when my mum was dying. However I have been doing it less and less as I felt I didn’t have time for it. 
My choice for becoming more aware and knowing myself on a deeper level in 2025 is to practice TM daily in order to strengthen my resolve, keep calm and develop my creativity.
