This is a mixed media painting on canvas. Originally, this was painted on the spot, just outside Beith, North Ayrshire. My Facebook page notes the following about it:-
'I parked the car in a lay-by just outside Beith, hopped over a fence, walked for a bit through long grass and found a rock I could sit on. I remember, some way into the painting, my hands being so cold I could barely pick up a brush!'
Subsequently, it went through various changes, ending up as it now is, a figure in a night-time, snowy landscape. I think its an interesting and dramatic image.
