I am interested in creating abstract compositions, while having connections to the world of nature. I am inspired by the idea of viewing through a lens, although I don’t use photography as such I like the idea of viewing the world through a microscope, a telescope or from above. 
 I have developed a number of mixed media techniques using wood, acrylic paint and acrylic mediums as well as scoring tools and paper. This has prompted a personal journey, and a blend of techniques which aim to transport the viewer into a realm where reality and abstraction converge,leaving an underlying impression of beauty and intrigue.
